Saratu Garba Abdullahi RN, MSN, (Saratityn Baba)
She is a Nurse and has a Diploma in Nursing and a post-basic Diploma in Midwifery with an additional certificate in Nursing Education.
She also went further to acquire her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing sciences with a speciality in Community Health Nursing. Saratu Obtained an additional MBA in hospital administration to help shape her administrative practice.
She worked in various stages of healthcare including a staff Nurse in a General Hospital and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at the Jigawa State VVF centre (after obtaining a special certificate in VVF/RVF medical and surgical Nursing care) later she worked as Nurse/Midwife Tutor in Jigawa State School of Nursing before joining the service of Bayero University, Kano as a lecturer in the Department of Nursing Sciences.
She is a girl child advocate and a passionate gender and sexual violence activist.
Currently, Saratu is a PhD Nursing Scholar with the Trudy Busch School of Nursing at Saint Louis University in the Missouri United States of America.
